The most well-known and the most used theory includes three contact lens types varying in functions.
  • Corrective contact lenses type is the primary sort developed, so that to be substituted for ordinary glasses. The main purpose of these lenses is to correct vision.   • Silicone contact lens type is the latest development, such lenses can remain in an eye at nighttime, while all the previous kinds should be taken out of eyes. The only shortcoming is that eyes may lack moistening.
One more approach to telling one lens from another is the time it can be worn or frequency of its replacement. Generally lenses can be daily, monthly, for three months and for a year. A person needs to take a contact out of an eye as often as once a day, several days and a week.
